i find that i like a blade style for my short irons, for consistant distance, but for some reason i tend to get off center more with my longer irons…. and like an oversized cavity back for my 2,3,4, and 5 irons, to get better “mis-hits”, the only time i really use long irons is to lay-up on par fives, so accuracy isnt really that important for me, but i do need to get it out there and straight-ish, i have purchased single clubs of various brands to get the feel of hitting them, i like nike cci’s wedge, but the 2 iron is a nightmare for me…. i just got back into the game and am looking to get a good set to play for a few years (to replace my “cheapies” i bought just to see if i wanted to play), until i truely find my swing again… any suggestions?

If you like Nike CCI then get them. just leave the 2 iron out of your set and get a utility/rescue club instead. Nike is a good set and if you like them, get them. That alone will help you improve on your game.
