I Need To Purchase A New Set Of Golf Clubs. How Do I Buy, And What Should I Be Looking For?

Still considered a beginner i,m sure… I have golfed on a woman’s league for a couple of years. Never golfed more than nine and shoot upper 50’s. I’m really not sure where to start. My budget is $500

By set of clubs, do you mean an iron set or irons, driver, woods, putter, wedges? If its just the irons you can get a great set of womens irons for 500 bucks. The cobra hybrid irons for women are really great. If its the whole set then 500 bucks will not get you very much.
try some of the sports big box stores or golftown
try a set instore if possible ( at least for fit )
you can buy a good intermediate set with a bag for that price , then look for better clubs later
get them as you can afford them, a goor driver or putter first, then irons, wedges etc.
in a few years you will have a nice set
Find a good used set. 2006 Nike or 2007 Titleist for example. Just like a good car, golf clubs value will fall, but the clubs still perform the same. New model does not mean better performance.
Only things you need to buy new are your gap wedge and your Sand wedge ( for the grooves ) .
shop around 3 or 4 places then go with your good judgment
