    Sizes are pretty standard. Unless it’s noted that it has an extended shaft or something. There are different degree angles of drivers, 3 woods, etc. that you have to be sure of. Find that out first if you’re buying a driver.
    And these days, if you’re getting somebody a driver who plays golf a lot or is pretty serious about it, you can’t find a quality “brand new” driver for much less than about 150-200 bucks. However, if this person is just starting golf, it’s a good idea not to spend too much until they get better.

    Are you set on buying a driver for this person? For $60, you can get a good 60 degree wedge or a sand wedge. In that sense, you’d get more for your money. The 60 won’t necessarily get you a “crappy” driver, but you probably can’t get a “good” one.

    It will be fine even if the club is junk it is the thought and act that are important.
