W= Wedge; there are many different types of wedges but the most common are Pitching, Sand, Gap/Approach, and Lob.

you have found a nice club it is a wedge,some one is going to dd that they have lost that club,you could buy 13 other clubs to make you a set or you can try to find who lost it and return it

“W” simply stands for wedge. This club is their standard pitching wedge. But if you found it, that means somebody lost that club. Why didn’t you turn it in at the golf course?
