I have a couple of putters that I would like to sell on eBay. My question is, how do I ship the darn thing? Thanks!

Save some money on the boxes! Go to a local golf store like golfsmith and just ask if they have any leftover club boxes. They just throw them out anyways. How many people do you see walking out of the store with their new club in a box? Also stuffing the box with newspaper works fine.
Make sure to wrap the head and grip of the club, make sure it doesn’t shake in the box. Usually plastic wrap on the grip w/ a rubberband and bubble wrap with newspaper to fill-in the box works best. You shouldn’t need a long box for putters. Golf stores are the best place to get them, like others have said.
You can go to a UPS Store or a Fed EX Kinko’s , they have boxes especially made for Golf Clubs and also the packing material for the inside , I have shipped a few Clubs using this method and it has worked just fine.
I agree with #3: Golf Galaxy has TONS of these boxes lying around. Also, be sure to wrap the heads in bubble warp, and affix with a rubber band.
