Where Can I Find A Golf Club Box In The Lansing Area To Ship My Ping Driver In.?

I am trying to sell a Ping G5 driver on ebay and am at a loss as far as finding a box that I can ship it in. Is there a place where I can go and get one for free or do I have to go and buy one? What exactly is the process of shipping a golf to a customer on ebay?

    As someone who buys and sells a lot of golf clubs on ebay, I have been faced with this question before. While the local Fedex/UPS/USPS might have the right sized box, the easiest way is to go to the nearest golf shop (or golf course with a pro shop) and just ask for a box. I’ve gotten about 10 for free. It definitely helps to go to a smaller “local” golf shop rather than one of the major chain stores, but even the big chain stores have given me boxes.

    There are several country clubs in the Lansing area. Each has a pro shop. Most pro shops sell and therefore receive clubs. See if one could let you have a box. You could find a large cardboard carton and construct your own shipping container. That would save a lot of bother.

    Go to a postal store (mailboxes inc., etc.) and have them ship it. It isn’t very cost effective, but the winning bidder pays shipping costs anyway, so YOUR profit remains the same. It’s easy, and they are used to people shipping all kinds of stuff due to ebay.

    UPS or Fed -Ex should have a box that will work or if you have one of those Postal stores that ship for you they should be able to fix you up.
    You can also go to your pro shop and see if they have one from shipments they have received.

    Ask e-bay people.
    They are using the few carrier, find the carrier and ask them, if you have few to ship individually then design one. If it is a bulk shipment then use a oversize box.
    Cost of shiping may eat away at the returns, from the venture.
