When i make my golf swing and come through with my finish the club face is at a closed position.?

Just wondering what causes this. I have heard of the club face being pulled to open but never closed.

all that matters is where it is at impact… how can you tell if it’s closed at the finish?? not something you should be thinking about..
Chances are your grip is too strong ie your left hand if you’re a right-hander is rotated too far to the right. Start with your hands in an neutral position on the club with your left thumb pointing down the shaft and your right hand up on top in the opposite position. Looking down at your hands you should see only one knuckle on each hand and the V’s formed by thumb and forefinger should point at your chin or right cheek. If you are still hitting it with a closed club face you’d better get help quick. If you’re slightly open it is an easy fix to adjust your grip to control the club face back to square. Good luck.
If you dissect your swing properly the answer you seek is quite obvious. At the address position your club face set behind the ball will be pointing to your intended target. On your back swing to the its completion, your dominant left hand puts the club face in the open position. On the follow through, the right hand takes over just after the impact and carries the club to its finished position , rolling over the left hand and closing the face.
