to win at mini golf you have to analyze the hole. notice if the barriers will give you a solid bounce, or if there are jagged points that could be inaccurate at bouncing your ball. Also, try to hit straight and soft to let the breaks play your ball, not the walls. Hitting bank shots is more inaccurate and it is highly overrated. Also, when faced with one of those horrible shots where you hit up the hill and it will roll back down if not hit perfect, try to angle your shot so that even if it hits too hard and rolls back it will stay on the hole

Don’t take it too seriously! Have a good time. You’re supposed to suck at it. That’s the point.
Make sure that you look behind your ball and predict what the ball will do once you hit it. also pick an object that is in line with the path that you want the ball to go and align your putter to it. Also make sure you keep your head down all the way through the stroke. Don’t look up until after 4 seconds that you have made contact with the ball.
