I live in the Hornchurch area of Essex, England and i’m looking for some people to play golf with. I took it up two years ago and i’m not very good, but I’m doing more travelling now and I’ve discovered there’s no such thing as a municipal course on the continent and you need a handicap card to play anywhere. Especially southern Spain. So if there are any groups of two or three out there that play on a weekend that would like a third or forth to join them and possibly give me some tips (on my long irons especially) I would be very greatful. I generally play on the Belhus course in Ockendon. I need to get a handicap sorted by October, which is the next time I go away.
Thanks

Well you buy me a first Class seat on British Airways and I will be glad to play a few rounds , I will even pay for the Golf .
I would recommend booking a couple of rounds with a pro at one course. All they require to give you a handicap is 3 completed scorecards, and who better than a pro to give you advice. Otherwise you have to find someone else with a handicap to sign your card and you may get dodgy advice.
if you ever come to Columbus ohio look me up good luck
Just hang around the clubhouse and introduce yourself.
