What they are mixing up is Clubhead Speed vs. Initial Ball Velocity. The Initial Ball Velocity they timed was 204 MPH. Divide this by 1.4667 and it Equals his “Clubhead Speed of 139.09 MPH. Translated via Basic Physics, each MPH of Clubhead Spped produces 2.67 Yards of Ball Flight under normal conditions (temp & humidity), and it equals a Drive totaling 371.36 Yards. Tiger can certainly achieve a 140 MPH CHS and a 373 Yard Drive and put it in play. Zuback does it w/ a Non-Conforming Driver!

a lot of you are arguing about tiger vs this zuback. basically you are saying about distance. Now understand that the environment (wind, slope, air, elevation, ect.) plays into distance. So even a 275 yard driver on most days could hit it 400+ under the right conditions. What you should argue is maximal club head speed. Tigers is 126 and zubacks is well in the 140s.

get off tiger’s nuts, he is nowhere close to LDA swing speeds, and he never will be, just b/c he knocks it past a bunch of skinny fat bums on the PGA tour doesn’t mean he is the longest hitting golfer out there, and to that, he aint even in the top 10 in driving distance on the short knocker tour
yea zuback can barely hit 385 my ass…considering he hit it over 500 in the long drive tourney…bro tiger can drive over 400…hes strong as hell and know how to swing the club like no other…there is no reason to hit it that far tho cuz you are risking a bad hit and you will still have a second hit most of the time anyway so its best to just make sure you get it in the fairway
you can see on the animation that it’s nothing like his actual swing. The dummy bends his left arm whih no golfer would do if he wants to hit it right

TIger’s swing speed is 120 mph. That’s what he does. On the tour you don’t get 6 balls nail a drive. Tiger therefore does not drive over 400 “if he wants”.
What ? JZ hits it over 400, normal conditions. Tiger could hit is over 385 if he really wanted to, although it might not be all that accurate. It’s not impossible. Most of the tour pros are conservative with their swings… Tiger (especially now) has the strength, speed etc. to hit it over 385 under normal conditions if he really tried… still wind, normal fairway, flush shot at a very high speed…
type in :tiger drives par 4…thats 425 yards dog…he hits it at 180 mph…jason hits the ball at 204 mph and reaches close to 500…do the math dumbass
